WHO IS A PRAYER WARRIOR?
A prayer warrior is a person who chooses to fight personal and spiritual through prayers and wisdom of the Lord,instead of his own strength.
QUALITIES::- They have faith
They are consistent
Obedient to God
He/she is humble
WHO IS A WARRIOR CHRISTIAN?
A warrior christian is a believer ,that is radical in advance g the Kingdom and contending for the faith .
A prayer warrior is pulled out of a warrior christian department,to be a specialist in contending for the faith,fighting to advance the kingdom on his knees.
Ephesian 6:1-9 ::-Exhorts us on the duties children ,slaves ,parent and masters.
Ephesians 6:10-18 ::- Exhorts on how to behave in spiritual warfare ,suggesting the arm our of God.
Ephesian 6:19-24 ::-Conclusion of the epistle
Ephesians 6:18 talks on how a prayer worrior should pray. Joining prayers with these Arm our that he made mentioned of.
HOW SHOULD A PRAYER WORRIOR PRAYS?
1. He prays with variety::- the bible says "pray with all prayers", there are different types of prayers e.g
prayer of praise,
prayer of worship to God ,
prayer of thanks ,
prayer of confession,
prayer of intercession etc.
Our prayers is limited to only supplication.
So when we pray ,let mix all the variety of prayers in it.
2, Pray at all time ::-the bible says "praying always"
1Thessalonian 5:16 ::-says ,rejoice always and pray continually.the bible is not asking us to pray without doing other things but make a qui k and habitual prayer an attitude through the day.
We don't have to isolate ourselves from people,our prayer should not fluctuate with our circumstances.,its like coughing as one bible teacher puts it,you are not coughing 24/7 but there are breaks in between them.
3, He/she prays in the spirit::- Jude 20 says " praying in the holy spirit" .so the question is::-
What is praying in the holy spirit?
He is not asking us to pray in tongues ,though the bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:2 says ,when we speak in tongues our spirit prays.
What is he saying then?
Praying in spirit means praying in the will of God.
How do we know the desires of God?
Its the condition of our hearts ,when we are fully surrendered to God. when we walk under the control of the holy spirit, and when we are obedient to the will of God.
Our prayers should be in agreement with his desires,because that will be the driving force in our prayers,if not we will be::-
1,Driven by selfishness or self centeredness.
2,fleshy desires
The desires of God are revealed in his word, let our desires in prayer Goes in line with what the word of God says in the bible.
4, pray with persistence::- A Pryer warrior doesn't give up,
Preservarance means not Quitting
The bible verse is Matthew 7:7
1, Asking ::-is a mild approach
2, Seeking::-is a moderate,you are going out look for. it can mean looking for prayer partner for your problem.
3, Knocking::- is a severe ,extreme approach,knocking with all effort to see that you are answered ,its a refusal to back down or stop.
Luke 18:1 ::- says "At all time men ought to pray and not give up"
The parable of the judge and the widow,she kept on coming until ,he gave in, though an unrighteous judge. How much more God a righteous father,will HW not supply our needs when we persistently ask him.
5, pray for all the saints ::-let us be aware of the problems that our fellow believers are facing and pray for them (intercession)
In a church if a fellow believer is asking how are you? If you are facing challenges tell him the problems you are facing,God may use him to meet some of you needsoor will join other believers to pray for you.
Beware of Christians ,that when you tell them your problem they will go and preach about or Gossip with other people about it.
CONCLUSION
Pray for the spiritual and physical growth of every believer in the world.
