Who is an Antichrist?

 

1 JOHN 2:18

"Dear children,the last hour is here ,you have heard that the Antichrist is coming and already of such Antichrist have appeared ,from this we know that the last hour has come"

Antichrist refers to any person who oppose Christ or who poses as Christ. But the bible leaves room for the one final enemy " the Antichrist"

Anyone who is called a fake messiah and opposes Christ is called an Antichrist, 

1 john 4:3 ,

Matthew 24:24

An Antichrist is given the name Antichrist in the book of 1 john 2:8

Some interprets the little horn little horn and the king who exalted himself in Daniel 7 as symbols of the Antichrist.

WHAT ARE THE  SYMBOLS OF THE      ANTICHRIST?

1,   The beast ::- Revelation 11:7 says

" when they completed their testimonies,the beast that comes up out of the bottomless pit will declare war against them,and he will conquer them and kill them "

Revelation  13 :1, 11

" Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea,it had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crows on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemy God"

" Then I saw another another beast come up out of the earth, he had two horns like those of a dragon "

2,   The man of lawlessness ::- 2 Thessalonians 2 :3-4

" Don't be fooled by what they say ,for that day will not come until there's great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed,the one who brings destruction, 

He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship, he will even sit in the temple of God ,claiming that he himself is God"

And 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10

3,   The sacrilegious objects that causes desolation::-mark 13:14

" The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious objects that causes desacration standing where he should not be, then those in Judea will flee to the mountains"

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ANTICHRIST?

                  DANIEL 7 :25

" He will defy the most high and oppress the holy people of the most high God. He will try to change their sacred festivals and laws ,and they will be place under his control for a time  and half time"

These  are the characteristics of the Antichrist that stand out in the bible ::-

 1).  Antichrist is controlled by Satan 2 Thessalonian 2 :9 ,Revelation 13:2

2).  He opposes God and exalted himself to the position of the deity.

3).  He is a liar and a Deciever of mankind

4).  He exhibits an unbiased contempt for the law

5).  He attempts to control the world politically ,economically ,regiously and otherwise.

Though some interpreters predicts a culmination hostility in a personal adversary, who will usher in a period of great trouble.

Others see Antichrist as a personification of evil not to be identified with anybody, nation ,institution or community.

The exact detail of the coming of Antichrist are a matter of debate,All degree eventually Christ will destroy Antichrist and emerge victorious.

Daniel 7 :24- 26

" Its ten horns are ten kings who will rule that empire. then another king will rise,different from the other ten,who will subdue three of them.

He will defy the most high and oppress the holy people of the most high, he will try to change their sacred festivals and laws and they will be placed under his control for a time,times and half a time.

But then the court will pass judgements and all his power will be taken away and completely destroyed"

WHAT WILL BE THE END OF                        ANTICHRIST?

The end of Antichrist will follow this patterns by the grace of God, according to the bible::- 

1,   He is now being restraint  -  2 ThesolonIans 2:6-7

2,   He will be destroyed at the return of Christ::-  2 Thessalonians 2:8

3,   He will be thrown into the lake of fire  ::- Revelation 19:20, Revelation 20:10

 

Jesus Christ And The Kingdom Of God
                    Matthew 4 :17

"From then on ,Jesus began to preach ,repent for the kingdom of God is am hand ,turn to God for the kingdom of God is near"

With all that the Antichrist will bring ,in opposition of the kingdom of God, he will not succeed,Christ has defeated him and will defeat him again and the last day,he will be sent to the bottomless pit of hell where he came from. 

Jesus was saying repent for the kingdom of God is near, only grace can save us from the claws of the Antichrist, so if you are not saved,Accept Christ as your personal lord and Saviour ,then go and meet a good man of God to disciple you. Amen

  Are false prophet and teachers part of the Antichrist that the bible is talking of?

Are the heretic teachings teaching about Christ part of the Antichrist today?

What about the wrong doctrines many churches operate today?

And the Dogma that is not in line with the scripture?

The bible says:-

" But if anyone claim to be a prophets and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus christ, that person is not from God. Such person has a spirit of Antichrist ,which you have heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here"
