WHO WAS BEZALEL, WAS HE REALLY SKILLFUL AS SAID IN THE BIBLE?

 WHO WAS BEZALEL

Who was bezalel?

Bezalel in the book of Exodus is described as ::-
The son of Uri, the grandson of Hur ,from the tribe of Judah.
He is also the man that God filled him with::-
          His spirit
Giving him great wisdom, ability and               expertise in all kinds of craft.
He is also described as the master craft in works of :-
                Gold
                Silver
And bronze, skilled in engraving                    gemstones of craft.

A great deal of work,God had ordered to be done about the tabernacle ,the materials the people were to provide. God himself made the choice of the architect of his house .God himself qualifies him for his work ,that is ,filled him with his spirit.

                  EXODUS 35:30-31

Bezalel here was described as a man that the lord specifically chosen him. Your gift and talents as a man ,is what God is looking to use for his glory, Bezalel avails himself and God used him greatly, lets avail ourselves for his his work as Christians and for his glory (Amen)

Exodus 36:1 says "the lord gifted Bezalel , Oholiab and other craftmen with wisdom and ability to perform and task. if we build ourselves properly in the blessings God had blessed us with, then we will be blessed with God asking for our service and we know ,he will not leave us like that when we serve him wholeheartedly.

The summary of the description ,definition ,and who Bezalel was are these::-
He is the son of Uri,the grandson of           Hur.
A man from the tribe of Judah
A man God  filled with his spirit and           giving him wisdom ,skills and                       expertise
A gifted man in craft and engraving             gemstones on craft.

WHAT WERE THE FUNCTIONS OF BAZELEL

He supervised the building of the tabernacle(Exodus 31:4-11). God personally appointed Bezalel and gave him an assistant in the name of Oholiab from the tribe of Dan ,a son of Ahisamach.

The functions were ::-
Through the instructions given through moses by God,they were to make :

  1,  the tabernacle of God

2,  the ark of the covenant

  3,  the arks cover

  4,  the place of atonement

5,  All the furnishings of the tabernacle             e.g the tables and accessories

  6,   the incense Alters

7,  the alter of burnt offering with its                 utensils.

8,   the wash basins with its stands

9,   Beautifully stitched garments, for the            priest Aaron and his sons to wear                when ministering.

10,  Anointing oil,the fragrant incense for           the holy place.

The craft men (Bezalel and oholiab)were to make everything as the lord had commanded them

Moses was the fittest of all to govern Israel, but Bezalel was fitter than he to build the tabernacle. the work was beautifully done with the varieties of men faculty,so just like Bezalel and oholiab, we are  encouraged to always avail ourselves and work with all of our hearts, Anytime  God wants our services(Amen)

                            CONCLUSION

Have you been told or believed that you would need to become a "professional Christian" in order to work in a way that pleases God? This means that you would be paid to play an overtly religious role like a missionary, a pastor, or another vocation that is directly associated with a Christian organization or church.Where do you believe this idea came from?

Do you feel that a devotee of Jesus Christ who works in a supposed "common work," like being a broker, a specialist, a teacher, a business visionary, or a designer, can be similarly as critical to God as occupations that have explicit otherworldly goals? If not, what difference would it make?
